As we know, after doing a great job as our MD2 coach this season, Tyson McCallum is stepping back to pursue his cricket in the UK during next season. This has created an opportunity for Dario Phillips to take up the MD2 Head Coach role after another successful campaign in MD4.
Dario has overseen the MD4/5 squad for quite a while now and has done a fantastic job, so it’s great news that he’s put his hand up to take over the reins of the MD2/3 squad from Tyson. Brendan Gray will also be moving to MD2 as Assistant Coach. Justin Waller will be continuing in Div 3 and we’ll look to additional coaches to the squad across the pre-season.
In terms of MD4/5 coaching for 2026, we’ll be working all involved to settle coaching positions over the coming weeks.
