13. Lucky for some, and especially for us – because that’s how many North Shore teams will take the field on Saturday. Mens Div 1 have the bye, but we have 13 teams in action. No less than seven back to back at Gore Hill, five on the road at Weldon for our local derby against Manly and Womens Div 2 are off to David Phillips.
Fielding so many teams is a massive financial and logistical exercise; but thanks to the support of our sponsors and volunteers we’re able to make that happen. And we’re thankful that so many people want to wear the black and red of the Bombers and play for our club.
This week’s team selections are now up on the website and Team App. Congratulations to everyone who has been selected to represent the club this weekend. And to those of you who missed out, keep working hard at training – your time will come.
And welcome to those who are making their North Shore debut on Saturday. There’s a lot of you who are wearing the North Shore jumper for the first time, and it’s great that you’ve chosen to become a part of our club. For some, it’s their first competitive game of footy; we hope that you’ll love your experience of playing our wonderful sport.

There’s always plenty of tasks to be done to make a game day happen, and we rely on you to get them done. If you’re rostered on for duties this week, we really need you to turn up with a smile on your face and get the job done to the best of your ability.
