The new season is a step closer to taking place, as AFL Sydney have announced the fixtures for the Mens and Womens Premier Division for 2024.

Danny Roberts and Ryan Meldrum will coach our Mens Premier Division team in 2024.

Our Mens Seniors team will play in Premier Division. Our season will kick off on Saturday 6th April, with the Battle of the Spit Bridge as we take on Manly at Gore Hill Oval. This year we have a 10-team competition over 18 rounds, with nine games at our home ground at Gore Hill Oval. Four of those games are in the first five rounds; and we’ll be looking to use our home ground advantage to get the season off to a flying start.

In a change to the structure of the competition, there is no Premier Reserves, Platinum Division or Platinum Reserves in 2024. Instead teams will be seeded into Divisions One to Five. We anticipate fielding teams in all these divisions. Fixtures will be released by AFL Sydney in due course.

Our Womens Seniors team will also play in Premier Division in 2024. Craig Tidemann and Josh Barbaro have been preparing the troops for a big season, and it will start at Gore Hill on Saturday 6th April, also taking on Manly. Nine teams will play in Womens Premier Division, with the Bombers having eight games at Gore Hill, eight away and two byes.

Fixtures for the remaining Womens teams will be released by AFL Sydney in due course.

For our young Bombers, there’s a few changes. For the male players, Under 19s has been replaced by Under 19.5s. The Under 19.5 Division One fixture has been released, and mirrors the Mens Premier Division.

For our younger female players, a new Womens Under 20s competition is being launched in 2024. We will be fielding a team in this new competition. The fixture for this will be announced at a later date.

See attached fixture listings for Mens Premier Division, Womens Premier Division and Mens Under 19.5s Division One. Game times are yet to be determined. We anticipate playing all our home games at Gore Hill Oval; away venues are to be confirmed in due course.
