Not very often we have a 200th, but we’re now up to our 3rd for the year, with one more to come.

Kerrin is celebrating his 200th at Gore Hill Oval tomorrow.

Kerrin Hughes AKA Hughesy has taken an interesting road to get to 200 games, one of resilience, grit and class.

Hughesy, known for his spectacular leap, has been at the club since 1998!!

He was a prominent member of the Premier Division side for many years in the 2000’s and has played in just about every North Shore men’s team as time has moved on.

Probably the greatest highlight of Hughesy’s career is being part of the 2005 Premier Division premiership, but he also won Ressis premierships in 2001, 2003 and 2004 and was the leading goalkicker in what was then the Under 18 Division 1 competition in 2000. After winning the Premier Division flag Hughesy spent many years overseas before returning to the Bombers and being a terrific team mate and club man.

It’s fantastic to see people like Hughesy stick around to enjoy their footy and pass on a bit of what they know. Well done and congratulations Hughesy on your 200th, we would love to see you wind back the clock for a Hughesy speckie this weekend!

See Hughesy in action tomorrow at 10:10am at Gore Hill as he plays his 200th game for North Shore
