I played my first senior game for North Shore when I was 15. I then went on to play with the Sydney Swans, then with Sturt in the SANFL, then Sydney Uni in the NEAFL, and now I’m back with the Bombers. It’s been an incredible football journey so far, but I’m wrapped to be back at North Shore where it all started.

The people. People make great football clubs, and North Shore have some amazing people that make it the place it is. From the playing group, to the coaching staff, to our volunteers and all our supporters, the Bombers is filled with people that truely care about one another and the success of this club. With people from all across Australia, North Shore attracts the kinds of people who want the best for the club and its players. It’s something very special to be apart of.

It’s definitely very humbling and a great privilege. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been awarded this honour and to lead out the boys each week. But for me, at the end of the day, we have 22 players that pull on the guernsey game day who all lead the group in their own ways. So as much as I am grateful for the position, I’m very lucky to have a group of boys who have all bought in and want to help lead the side. I made a promise when I took on the role that I would uphold our Bomber trademark, and that is to be United, Ruthless and Honest. If we can consistently meet these standards week in week out, this group has the potential to achieve some pretty amazing things this season.
