It’s been a challenging year, but we’ve come out of it pretty well. For a while it wasn’t looking like we’d get on the field at all; but we’ve managed to get a season in. Saturday is the last day of the season, and we have two more teams in Grand Final action.
At 9am the Under 19s Division One team will be in a premiership decider, followed by the Reserves at 11:15am.
Team selections are now up on our website and Team App. To everyone who has been given the honour of representing North Shore in these Grand Finals, congratulations. Wear the jumper with pride, play your best football in the right spirit and that’s all anyone will ever ask of you.
As advised earlier in the week, due to ongoing covid-19 restrictions, entry to the Grand Finals is to ticket holders only. Tickets are being allocated on Friday. If you do not have a ticket, please do not travel to Kanebridge Oval.
Both games will be live streamed on AFL Sydney’s Facebook page. Live updates will also be posted on Team App and our Twitter account (@northshorefc).
North Shore is a rapidly-growing club, maybe the largest in Australia. We fielded 13 teams in 2020, which we think may be a record for a senior footy club. And there’s every chance we can make 2021 even bigger.
We have over 500 registered players, coaches, volunteers, families, supporters, past players and more. They can’t all be at Kanebridge tomorrow; but they are all supporting you and cheering you on; and hoping you can bring the premiership cups back to Gore Hill.
