North Shore have no less than 13 teams taking the field on Saturday in an epic day of footy.
At Gore Hill Oval, we have six games back to back. Mens Thirds will kick off the day, followed by Under 19s Div One. We then have Seniors and Reserves for both our Mens and Womens teams in action, all taking on East Coast Eagles.
And for our Bomber diaspora spread far and wide, we have a special treat for you. Our Mens Premier Division match will be streamed live on our Facebook page; with special comments from Ryan Meldrum. We hope you enjoy the chance to see the Bombers of today in action.
But we know you want more. Seven of our teams will hit the road. Mens Fourths and Masters will be back to back at Sydney Uni No 1. Womens Fourths Red and Mens Fifths are back to back at Mahoney Park against Newtown. Under 19s Div Two have a return game and a chance for instant revenge as they travel south for a re-match with Southern Power. Womens Thirds head out west to take on Western Magic at Blacktown; while Womens Fourths Black have a lunchtime clash against Manly at Weldon.
Team selections are now up. Congratulations to everyone who will be wearing the Bombers colours tomorrow. Play hard, play fair, give it your best shot and wear the North Shore uniform with pride. That’s all we’ll ever ask.
A game day involves a lot of little tasks to be done and done well. If you’re rostered on for duties, please give it your all. A little bit done here and there all adds up to what we think is a pretty good game day at Gore Hill and when we travel away.
