North Shore AFC Annual General Meeting 

Gore Hill Oval Club Rooms,

As our club continues to grow, we need to build a structure of volunteers, committee and executive committee roles to support the club membership, and keep the club running smoothly for the enjoyment of all.   
The proposed committee structure is aimed at sharing the load and not having one or two people doing too much, and then becoming overloaded or burnt out. It also assists in defining communication lines so that every query or decision does not go to just one or two people.  
Feel like a committee role is too much?  
In addition to the committee roles that are being put forward for nomination, there will also be a variety of non-committee roles where you can help out.  These will be implemented by the new committee of 2020, but some examples of those support roles may be for someone to just focus on Grants, or collating and maintaining the history of the club, running raffles, taking care of junior club liaison, or being our sorely needed property steward!  
With the combined talents of our 500 plus members we can continue to build our incredible club, so please don’t be afraid to put your hand up!

The proposed Executive Committee Roles (expected to meet monthly) are – President, Secretary, Treasurer, Revenue Streams, Match Day Operations, and Football Operations.
The proposed General Committee Roles (expected to meet bi-monthly) are – Social Media/Website, Match Day Secretary, Compliance/Process, Merchandise, Fundraising (including Sponsorship and Membership and Social/Events.
Information on how to nominate for one of these roles is provided in the attached Notice of Annual General Meeting. Note that the Vice President of the club will be one of the elected Executive Committee members and will also be elected at the AGM.
