Vale Peter Croft ????
We are saddened to share the passing of Peter, a cherished North Shore Football Club great and NSW State Team representative.

Peter made his debut in first grade at just 15 and quickly became known for his pace, precision, and leadership. A Life Member of our club, Peter was a multiple-time best and fairest winner, team captain, and a driving force in our 50s and 60s sides.

Friend and former teammate Ian Sharp shared this reflection:
“I met Peter in the early 1960s after moving to Sydney and joining Norths. Like me, he came from a country town and was a tremendous mentor. He not only guided me on the field but helped me settle into city life. I played first grade with Peter and his brother Billy, and we won a Grand Final together.
Peter’s whole family was deeply involved in the club—his sister ran social events and his father served as our chief strapper and physio.
We stayed in touch through the years, and just weeks ago we spent a lovely afternoon reminiscing about the old days.”

Our deepest condolences to Peter’s family and all who knew and loved him. His legacy and impact on our club will never be forgotten.
