Another work week is done and dusted and we’re ready for another big weekend of footy. All 12 of our teams have matches scheduled, with three games at home, five away at Sydney Uni plus another four away matches.
This round brings us to the half-way point of the home and away season. Several of our teams are well placed to make a run for the finals. There’s still a long way to go, and plenty more effort required; but 2024 has thrown up some strong opportunities to pursue.
This week’s team selections are now up on the website and Team App. Congratulations to everyone who has been given the black and red Bombers guernsey to wear this week. Wear it with pride and play some great footy!

I’ll be posting live score updates from our Gore Hill games quarter by quarter on Team App and our Twitter/X feed (@northshorefc) and updates & results from our away venues when I have the scores. Hopefully plenty of good news to report.
As a community sporting club, we rely heavily on volunteers to get many tasks done on game day; and for several of those tasks we roster players on for duties. If you’ve been rostered on for duties this week, we really need you to be there and doing your job to the best of your ability. It’s those that put the most effort into the footy club that get the most out of it.
And finally, thank you to everyone who came together at short notice last Saturday to mourn with us and commemorate the life of Kate Minchin. We stand together, we play what we love together and we celebrate our friend together.
