FINALS CATERING FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY – HELP REQUIRED
North Shore has been awarded the catering rights for finals this year at Blacktown International Sports Park (BISP). This is a fantastic fundraising opportunity for the club that only comes around once every 10 years!!
This involves running the catering and bar for the venue, as well as some operational work, on 8 finals days from the 19th of August to the 10th of September (ie Saturdays and Sundays).
In addition to the catering and bar, we can also run raffles on each of the 8 days. This is a rare opportunity to raise much needed funds that we can use for projects at the club (eg new scoreboard) and for programs that we want to run to improve our footy.
To make this all work, we need people to help project manage and supervise elements of the work, as well as volunteers to work in short stints in the canteen/bar at BISP.
If you and/or anyone you know can help out on any of the weekends, please email Liz Fitzgerald at secretary@northshorefc.com.au, advising any particular area you might be able to help with (ie bar, canteen, raffles, site operations, project management etc) and which of the 8 days you are available for. Most of these days are shorter than a standard home game day at Gore Hill, but regardless the plan is to have enough people so that we can share work to lighten the load for all.
