North Shore Australian Football club are proud to announce that star ruck, Kate Reynolds has been selected to join the inaugural Sydney Swans AFLW side.

Reynolds will join Zoe Hurrell as the second North Shore player to make history as a Swans AFLW debutant. For those who have been following North Shore women’s premier side, Reynolds’ announcement will come as no surprise. Kate’s on and off field leadership coupled with athletic prowess, strength and height means that few that come up against her come out on top.

With her sight set on the 2023 season, her dreams have been realised a year earlier than anticipated as Reynolds explains,

“Still pinching myself that I’ve been signed as an inaugural Swan. I’ve been working and training to next season so to have the call up a week out from the season is incredible. I can’t wait to seize the opportunity and make my mark when I run out in the red and white.”

“Since arriving back in Sydney, Bombers have been so important to my development as a player, and I wouldn’t have this opportunity without the clubs, coaches, and teammates support. That extends to my scholarship at Athletes Authority, the support of @nathleticperformance and the team there has allowed me to build the foundations to get me to this next level.”

“Looking forward to this next chapter, the hard work starts now!”

Best of luck with in round 1 this Saturday, Kate. We can’t wait to see you on the big screen! ❤️?
