Registration Payment 2019
With registration payments now due for this coming season, I think it’s worth letting you know a couple of things about them.
Firstly, it now costs the club about $700 per player to field our teams – so significantly more than your rego fees.
We are able to keep rego fees down through sponsorship, functions and other fund raising activities. Which is why everyone needs to support sponsors, functions and fund raising!!
Despite being back at Gore Hill our ground hire costs with the Council will increase significantly over previous years. On its own this will be the equivalent of a $70 increase in fees for every single player.
We also have increased AFL related costs in 2019.
The club hasn’t passed theses costs on in full to players and we think we can manage this if everyone pays their fees.
We are taking a risk with this to keep your costs down, so it’s critical that everyone does pay what they should.
You might think this is a given, but in every past season a number of people haven’t paid. If that happens again this year it will put a lot of pressure on the club and it will result in a substantial fee increase in 2019.
It’s obviously unfair that while most people pay, some take a fee ride. That’s clearly unacceptable and we’ve reached the point where we have no option but to act on it.
So to those of you who always pay your fees and to those new players who have every intention of doing so this season – thank you – and to anyone who feels they don’t want to pay their way – this isn’t the place for you.

Our player fees for 2019 have been determined; and are as follows:
Early bird (Paid by 2 March) $440.00
Standard $480.00
Payments after round 1 $520.00
New players will receive shorts, socks and a polo on payment of their fees.
