On the long weekend, just three matches were played; with Mens & Womens Premier Division and Under 19.5s Division One playing catch-up away games against Pennant Hills at Mike Kenny Oval. On a dominant weekend for the Bombers, we picked up a clean sweep; winning all three games by big margins.

MENS
Mens Premier Division had one of those days when everything was going right, shutting the Demons out of the game as they extended their lead in every quarter. The blustery wind was no handicap for the Bombers as they moved the ball at will, with the Demons never looking like scoring in the second half as the Bombers cruised to a 91-point win. Matt Buskariol helped himself to four goals; while Pierce Roseby, Jake Veale and Felix Rogers picked up myriad possessions all day.
Under 19.5s barely raised a sweat as they easily accounted for the Demons in the early game at Mike Kenny. The Bombers had options all around the ground, and the Demons never looked a chance of getting into the contest. Sam Jackson was unstoppable on the forward line to finish with five goals; while Cooper Hawtin, Matt Folkes and Felix McIntosh were in the thick of the action around the ground.

WOMENS
It’s barely possible for a Premier Division fixture to be as dominant as we saw on Friday night. Eight unanswered goals in the first quarter set the tone for the evening, and the Bombers never slowed down. Adrienne Keeffe landed four goals on a night where no less than 13 North Shore players got on the goal-kicking list; while in contrast Pennant Hills were unable to score. Heidi de Saxe, Lucinda Watson and Adrienne Keeffe were best on, but it was hard to find a Bomber who didn’t play their role to near perfection.
