Player Registration for 2018 is now open

For anyone who’s going to be playing for North Shore this year, it’s essential that you get registered to play. Even if you played for us last year, you have to register for this season.

The registration page is now open at

You have the rest of this month and through March to get registered. When the season starts, a player who is not registered will not be considered for selection. A non-registered player would not be covered by insurance, and the club would be fined and possibly lose premiership points. We’re not going to let it happen.

Particularly if you have previously played for another club, please get on and register ASAP. This will enable us to get a clearance from your former club in plenty of time to make you eligible for round 1 selection.

If you are having any trouble with doing your registration, please contact Stuart Kennedy at

Training is continuing to happen, and we’ve had some fantastic numbers at all our sessions. If you’re wanting to play this season and haven’t made it down to training yet, please come along as soon as you can. It’s only through attending training that we’ll know your fitness and skill level, and you’ll know your team-mates, the game plan and your role in the team.

Seniors, Reserves and Under 19s are training Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30pm at OH Reid Oval.

Thirds, Fourths and Fifths are training Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:30pm at OH Reid Oval.

Our Womens teams are training Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:30pm at Mowbray Public School.

These arrangements will remain in place until the end of March. We’re working through our options for training after the clocks go back; and we’ll let you know what our training arrangements will be from April onwards as soon as they are finalised.

We’ll shortly be asking players to pay their registration fees for 2018. The exact amount is shortly to be set. It’s important that players pay this as quickly as they can. It costs a lot of money to get our teams on the field. We’ll be fielding nine teams this year and we’ll have some extra-ordinary ground hire costs for training venues; so your support is vital.
